BREAKING NEWS: Ozone kills Covid-19

I spent the month of March 2020 looking for us studies on how well Ozone, as well as other proven mechanical methods could help with the coming Covid scourge. So frustrated was I, that in April 2020 I began the book entitled Win the War on Covid-19 in an effort to help the US public, and inspire a US university or the EPA to study the effectiveness of Ozone or O3 specifically against the Sars Cov-2 virus. And I wait and wait, wondering why this facility consultant knows darn well of the effectiveness of UV light, Photocatalytic oxidation and Ozone technology, at deactivating singe cell predators.

Finally, it has happened, and it made world news. Dr Ines Zucker from Tel Aviv University has proven under clinical conditions that indeed Ozone is highly effective at deactivating (killing) the Sars Cov-2 Virus. “They demonstrated a high level of disinfection within minutes, even on surfaces not typically disinfected with a manually applied liquid disinfectant, with a typical success rate over 90%.” According to Dr Zucker “the method involves inexpensive and readily available technology, which can be utilized to disinfect hospitals, schools, hotels, and even aircraft and entertainment halls.” Thank you Dr Zucker! Did you hear that Airlines? Aren’t you down 50%? How about Restaurants, Heath clubs, for heaven sake cruise ships. The process of creating O3 from Oxygen O2, could not be more natural, it’s like gods natural disinfectant, however Ozone has earned warnings from the EPA against long term exposure to high levels of ozone. High levels can cause raspatory distress or inflame asthma, but it also has a strong odor at high levels and should simply not be used in occupied spaces. Ozone also has a short half-life meaning it disappears very quickly after doing its work.  As a reminder of the importance of mechanical disinfection, live virus was found on the infected Diamond Princess Cruse Ship some 17 days after evacuation. Certainly, Ozone can help the medical, retirement, travel and many other industries, over the next many years. Dr Zucker, would it be too much to ask that you also begin testing ventilation based UV-C light, Ionic plasma and most importantly (PCO) Photocatalytic Oxidation as well? Apparently the US EPA is not yet aware of the ventilation based technology used to deactivate airborne virus. Unlike Ozone, PCO is able to be used in occupied spaces, and remains an important missing link in the US defense against indoor contagion.
